When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you
Wow, have they grown fast! It seems like just yesterday that Ashley and Emma was born.
When you have a 4 year old and a 6 year old who both are princesses, there's only place you can go for vacation... it's simply time to visit the mouse.
Anyone have tips for a first-timer? We'll be going in May before Memorial day.
Wish me luck! :-)
California or Florida?
ReplyDeleteA certain amount of planning is essential for a Disney trip, especially Florida. A couple resources I've found helpful:
The "Unofficial Guide" books. Lots of practical advice and honest appraisals of the attractions.

ReplyDeleteVisiting WDW – Orlando for the first time (or after many years) is very intimidating. Now with the growing crowds, you need to get reservations months in advance at every nice restaurant. My daughter-in-law became a “Disneyholic” when she first went in 2002 after she married my son. She created a website -
http://www.disneyholic.com/ but since she had 3 babies in 17 months (twins unexpectedly), she has not been able to update the website much.
Our last family visit was organized by her – she got all of the tickets in advance, made reservations for each day’s lunch and dinner and all my wife and I had to do was to show up at a select park at the designated time. It was very relaxing compared to previous visits. We were waiting to go to dinner at the German Beer Hall in Epcot and every minute a couple walked up wanted to have dinner – they were very disappointed that the reservations for a Tues night were totally book two months in advance.
Be prepared for lots of expenses – but also some great memories!
